9th Place Finish at the Michigan State Championship

The FIRST robotics team from Jackson, Michigan, the Jacktown Vectors, recently qualified for the FIRST World Championship competition to take place in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
The Jacktown Vectors 9th place finish, out of the top 40 teams in Michigan, at the Michigan State Championship, held at Saginaw Valley State University qualified them for the world championships. The Jacktown Vectors also had a strong 4th place showing at the Ann Arbor regional competition along with a 5th place finish at the Lansing regional event. They were awarded the “Gracious Professionalism Award” sponsored by Johnson & Johnson at the Lansing area regional event.
So far, the team has a record of 31-19-1 in official play in 2017.
