The challenge of this application was to form two "D" tabs into a slot, completely filling the slot assembly with the tab material.

Key to Success

The Orbitform applications team first attempted to use orbital forming on this project but found the motion left gaps in the slot, whereas the spiral process completely filled the slot with tab material.
