Minimizing cycle time and floorspace requirements, while accommodating unique part numbers and integrating a thread presence verifier.

Key to Success

A compact and efficient cam-actuated transfer mechanism moved parts from weld to thread check to unload. Flexible fixturing accommodated all part numbers, and an active mechanical thread verifying solution also verifies thread quality. This active method of verification is much more reliable than passive (e.g. eddy current) methods.
