Challenge

Part of a two-machine system, this application required rollerform heads to accommodate four tube sizes, a way to secure each head quickly and a mechanism to automatically position each part.

Key to Success

Orbitform designed and built a modified pedestal machine with spindle mounted rollerheads for quick changeover, a servo driven lead screw for automatic adjustment, and a unique trunnion mounted tilting screw to facilitate easy loading and unloading.
