Challenge

This application was a challenge because of the flexible plastic yoke assembly and the rigid stainless shaft. The wheels needed to be assembled tightly yet stay flexible enough to not bind.

Key to Success

As a result of the Orbitform Application Lab’s detailed part and process analysis a unique assembly solution was developed using a modified standard bench machine.
