Wind Turbine Welding

 

When a wind power company needed their aluminum hubs and spokes fastened they came to Orbitform for a custom solution.

 

 

Besides a complete redesign of the entire part, the Orbitform Team developed a cell for welding the rings and spokes - plus an orbital station for setting 120 rivets in each ring. The system maximizes raw materials and outputs over 90 units in one shift.
